| Selina Gilbert Brownlow, age 45, of #1373 Livingston Road, Rome, died on Sunday morning, August 29th, 2010 at Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta.
A native of Floyd County, Selina was born on July 23rd, 1965, the daughter of Rosemary F. Haney and the late Robert Lee Brownlow. She had spent the greater part of her life in Floyd County, was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and attended Coosa High School.
Survivors include her parents, Junior and Rosemary Haney of Rome; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Brent and Lisa Brownlow of Rome; 2 step-brothers, Sterling and Shane Haney of Rome; 1 niece, Brandy Cannon and 1 nephew, Randy Brownlow.
Funeral services for Selina Gilbert Brownlow will be held on Wednesday afternoon, September 1st, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. from the Parkview Chapel of Fred Talley’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Harvey Bowman and the Rev. Rayford Davenport officiating with interment to follow in Oaknoll Memorial Gardens.
Selina will remain at Fred Talley’s Parkview Chapel where the family will receive friends this (Tuesday) evening from 6 until 8 o’clock. At other hours the family will be at the residence.
The following will serve as active pallbearers, Ryan Cannon, Randy Brownlow, Sterling Haney, Ricky Gilbert, Shane Haney, Randy Mills and Jerry Willbanks.
